Who they are
The Hindu Merat live in the state of Rajasthan, in northwestern India, with a strong historical presence in the Ajmer region and the Aravalli Hills. Traditionally engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry, they maintain close community ties and a strong cultural identity linked to the traditions of their villages, where the Christian faith remains virtually unknown.
