Who they are
The Hindu Sangtarash are a traditional community of stonemasons and stone carvers in northern India. Their ancestral craft of carving stone for temples and buildings has shaped their identity and daily routine. They preserve family customs closely linked to their occupation and maintain their devotions and religious traditions within the Hindi-speaking cultural context.
