Who they are
The Holikachuk are an Indigenous Athabaskan people from interior Alaska, historically settled in the Yukon River basin. With deep roots in living in harmony with the boreal forest and in traditional fishing, they seek to keep their heritage and collective memory alive as they face rapid changes in society and community life.
