Who they are
The Imonda are an indigenous community living in the tropical forests of Sandaun Province in northwestern Papua New Guinea. They maintain deep community ties and a way of life closely connected to the land and the resources of the forest. With a significant Christian presence established in the region, the current challenge is to strengthen discipleship and help local leaders grow in biblical maturity.
