Who they are
The Jabuti, also known as the Djeoromitxí, are an Indigenous people living in the Amazon region of the Brazilian state of Rondônia. With strong ties to the forest and riverbanks, they preserve a rich cultural and oral tradition despite the profound historical challenges of contact with outsiders and constant pressure on their traditional lands.
