Who they are
The Jadgalis live in southeastern Iran, in the region of Balochistan. What sets them apart most from their Baloch neighbors is their language: in everyday life, many customs are similar, but Jadgali remains the distinctive mark of this people. This language has roots linked to Sindhi, a reminder that the ancestors of the Jadgalis came from western India before settling in this part of Iran.
