Who they are

Chinese Jews, known locally as You Tai, descend from communities that arrived along the Silk Road and settled mainly in Kaifeng. Over the centuries, they assimilated the Mandarin language and local customs, but many families preserved the memory of their origins, seeking today to understand their historical and spiritual identity.
