Who they are

The Kalabaz are a Dalit people from northern India, speaking Hindi. They live embedded within the caste system, occupying a marginalized position in Hindu society. Their identity is defined by their quest for dignity within this rigid social structure. There is almost no Christian presence among them, and they remain among the least-reached peoples of South Asia.
