Who they are
The Kaningra are a small indigenous people living along the riverbanks and in the forests of the Sepik River basin in Papua New Guinea. Living in isolated villages, they maintain strong community ties and their traditional language, combining everyday customs associated with fishing and farming with the Christian faith embraced by most of the community.
