Who they are
The Kelabit are an indigenous people from the highlands of northern Borneo, in the state of Sarawak. Traditionally known for growing rice on terraces and living in communal wooden houses, they have a rich oral tradition and a deep connection to the mountain forests. Today, many have moved to urban centers, but they continue to take pride in preserving their identity, language, and community ties.
