Who they are
The Khmer Keh are a small group of Khmer who live in eight villages in northeastern Cambodia. They speak their own variety of Khmer, mixed with Lao, and marry other Khmer. Most follow traditional beliefs involving spirits, with Buddhist influences; Christians are a minority. In the late 2000s, most grew rice for their own consumption, and some villages had groups of Christians who were young in the faith and whose leaders had little training.
