Who they are
The Kiowa Apache, historically known as the Plains Apache, live mainly in the state of Oklahoma in the United States. Although they lived in close alliance with the Kiowa Nation for centuries, they maintained their Athabaskan heritage and distinct identity. Today, they seek to preserve their rich cultural memory, honoring their ancestral traditions and promoting the well-being of their families and community.
