Who they are

The Kobon are an Indigenous people who live on the mountain slopes of the Schrader Range in Papua New Guinea. Living in small communities scattered throughout the tropical rainforest, they maintain a deep connection to the land and to subsistence farming. With a widespread Christian presence in their villages, they seek to mature in their faith and pass it on with a firm foundation to younger generations.
