Who they are

The Koneraw are an Indigenous people who inhabit the coastal and swampy regions of southern Papua, mainly on the island of Kolepom. Maintaining a strong connection to the waters and forests around them, they preserve their own language and ancestral customs. Although much of the community identifies with Christianity, the current challenge lies in deepening their faith and developing their biblical understanding.
