Who they are
The Kopar are an indigenous people living in the coastal region and along the banks at the mouth of the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea. Their community life is closely tied to the water, and they make their living through fishing and preparing sago. Although most profess the Christian faith, there is an ongoing need for deep discipleship and clear biblical teaching in their heart language.
