Who they are
The Koyukon are an Indigenous Athabaskan people living along the Yukon and Koyukuk rivers in the forests of interior Alaska. Known for their deep respect for nature and the seasonal cycles of subsistence in the taiga, they keep their hunting and fishing traditions alive while seeking to strengthen their community and pass their language on to younger generations.
