Who they are
The Kui Lung live in northern Laos, in the provinces of Luang Namtha and Bokeo. They are part of the Kui minority, which is officially recognized in the country. They are closely related to the Kucong but differ from them in culture and language; both peoples were originally part of the Lahu in southern China. Most follow traditional religions, and a minority are Christian.
