Who they are

The Ladins of the Dolomites are an indigenous Alpine community inhabiting the mountainous valleys of northern Italy. Descended from Romanized Rhaetian populations, they preserve a unique identity expressed in the Ladin language and in rich cultural traditions tied to the mountains. Although they have deep historical roots in traditional Christianity, few know a personal and transformative relationship with Christ.
