Who they are
The Lahanan are a small indigenous community living along riverbanks in the interior of Sarawak, on the island of Borneo. Part of the cultural mosaic of forest peoples, they preserve ancestral customs and their own language in traditional riverside villages. Communal life in longhouses and farming shape the daily routines and relationships of their families.
