The Lemio form a small Indigenous community in Papua New Guinea, on the island of New Guinea. Living in traditional villages surrounded by tropical forests, they preserve their native language and a rich cultural heritage rooted in community cooperation, close family life, and care for the ancestral land that sustains their people across generations.
