Who they are
The Limousin people are a traditional community in south-central France, associated with the historical province of Limousin and Occitan cultural and linguistic heritage. With strong ties to rural life, cattle raising, and craftsmanship, they preserve distinctive aspects of their regional identity. Although local culture has deep Christian roots, the spread of secularization has distanced a large part of the population from an active practice of faith.
