Who they are
The Liki are a small Indigenous community living on the islands and along the northern coast of the Papua region of Indonesia. With a heritage rooted in seafaring, fishing, and the communal life of New Guinea, they preserve their traditional customs and linguistic identity. Although most profess the Christian faith, access to in-depth discipleship and biblical resources in their native language remains a challenge.
