Who they are
The Lillooet, known in their traditional language as St’at’imc, are an indigenous Salish people who live in the river valleys and mountains of the interior of British Columbia, Canada. Historically connected to the rivers and salmon fishing, they maintain a strong sense of community and respect for the land. Most have a longstanding connection with Christianity and seek spiritual and cultural renewal.
