The Luiseño are an Indigenous people originally from southern California in the United States. Historically associated with the San Luis Rey River basin and the coastal hills, they retain a strong connection to their ancestral lands. Today, organized into recognized reservations, they devote themselves to preserving their cultural traditions and sacred songs while seeking community development and spiritual renewal among younger generations.
