Who they are
The Lule Sami are an indigenous people inhabiting the Arctic regions of northern Sweden and Norway, around the Lule River basin. Guardians of ancestral traditions linked to reindeer herding and mountain life, they preserve their own language and a deep bond with the land. Although most profess historical Christian faith, many maintain a formal spirituality, needing personal renewal and biblical discipleship.
