Who they are
The Mada are a people native to the far north of Cameroon, concentrated mainly on the slopes and in the valleys of the Mandara Mountains. Traditionally engaged in subsistence farming on family farms, they preserve their own Chadic language and maintain strong community and clan ties that shape their decisions and social life.
