Who they are
The Talaandig are an Indigenous people who inhabit the mountain slopes of Bukidnon province on the island of Mindanao, in the Philippines. Keepers of rich oral traditions, epic songs, and ancestral customs, they maintain a deep connection to their sacred lands and forests. Although many still practice traditional animist beliefs, Christian faith communities have gradually been growing among their villages.
