Who they are
The Maung are an Indigenous Australian people originally from the Goulburn Islands and the northern coast of Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. As custodians of ancient oral traditions and a deep connection to the land and sea, they preserve their mother tongue and pass on their cultural heritage while pursuing community development and stronger families.
