The Chalcatongo Mixtec are an indigenous community originating from the mountains of Oaxaca, in southern Mexico. Guardians of ancestral traditions and their own mother tongue, they preserve a deep connection to the land through agriculture and craftsmanship. Although traditional Christianity is rooted in their community culture, biblical discipleship and contact with the life-changing gospel remain rare among most families.
