The Muirin, also associated with the historical community of Gubden, form a traditional subgroup of the Dargwa peoples in Dagestan, in the Caucasus region. With deep ties to their native mountains, they preserve strong kinship bonds and ancestral community customs. Their ethnic identity remains tightly woven with Islamic tradition, passed down from generation to generation in remote villages.
