The Mulao Jia are an ethnic group living primarily in the mountainous regions of southwestern China. With ancestral cultural roots linked to the Tai family, they preserve strong community traditions based on agriculture and reverence for ancestors. Although many use Mandarin in daily life, they keep alive a unique identity, carefully passed down across valleys and rural villages.
