Os Murik Kayan são uma pequena comunidade indígena que habita as margens fluviais do interior de Sarawak, na ilha de Bornéu. Intrinsecamente ligados à floresta tropical, preservam uma identidade singular associada à grande família dos povos Kayan. Sua vida tradicional é orientada pela agricultura familiar, pela pesca e por costumes ancestrais que mantêm forte conexão com a terra e a herança de seus antepassados.
