People
Who they are
The Muslim Chapparband form a community traditionally linked to manual labor and construction in South Asia, primarily in southern and western India. Historically associated with crafting thatch roofs and structures, they maintain cohesive community ties and a religious identity grounded in Islam. With no known Christian presence among them, they remain among the least-evangelized peoples of the region.
