Who they are
The Muslim Chhipa are a traditional South Asian community historically linked to the artisanal dyeing and printing of fabrics. With a strong sense of social and professional identity, they use Urdu in their daily lives and preserve trades inherited from their ancestors. Islam structures their community life and family ties, in a context with no known Christian presence among them.
