Who they are
The Naga live in northeastern India, mainly in Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. In Nagaland, each tribe has its own language, and many cannot understand one another; this is why Nagamese, a mixture of Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi, is used. It is also spoken at religious gatherings. The New Testament in Nagamese was released in 2018 so that Christians from different communities could read the Bible together.
