Who they are

The Navait are a Muslim community established mainly along the southwestern coast of India. Descendants of ancient Arab and Persian navigators and traders who integrated into the coastal region, they preserve a unique cultural identity, with a strong commercial vocation and their own variant of the Konkani language. Their community life is marked by solid family ties and sincere religious devotion.

What to pray for
Intercede for this people
For the revelation of Jesus as Savior to Navait families through dreams and life-changing encounters.
For the translation and widespread distribution of biblical portions and audio resources in the Konkani dialect spoken by the people.
For the witness of neighboring Indian Christians who will build genuine bridges of respect, friendship, and dialogue.
For the emergence of the first fellowships of believers that will flourish within the Navait culture itself.
