Who they are
The Nduga are an indigenous people who inhabit the rugged mountains of inland Papua, on the island of New Guinea. With a way of life shaped by hillside farming and strong community ties, they preserve their language and traditional customs amid geographic isolation and challenges to stability in the region. Although the Christian faith is part of their collective identity, biblical discipleship remains essential.
