Who they are
The Neko are a small Indigenous community living in the forested regions of Papua New Guinea. In their traditional villages, they maintain strong community ties and preserve their native language in everyday life. Although much of the population professes the Christian faith, the major challenge today is to deepen biblical understanding, provide consistent discipleship and develop mature local leaders.
