Who they are

The Nembao are a small Indigenous community living on the remote islands of Temotu Province in the Solomon Islands. They preserve their traditional language, Amba, and maintain a strong connection to the land and sea through fishing and subsistence farming. Although the Christian faith has been part of community life for generations, they face the challenge of deepening biblical discipleship in their own native language.
