Who they are
The Nez Perce, traditionally known as the Nimiipuu, are an Indigenous people from the northwestern United States, historically connected to the valleys and rivers of the plateau region. Renowned for their skill in horse breeding and their rich cultural heritage, they seek today to maintain their identity, preserve their ancestral language, and strengthen community life on the lands of their ancestors.
