Who they are

The Ngo, also called Babungo, live in the village of Babungo on the Ndop Plain in northwestern Cameroon. They speak Vengo. In the nineteenth century, Babungo was a major center of iron production, and the iron was taken to markets in the region. Today, most identify as Christians, while some follow traditional religions.
