Who they are
The Northwest Guiyang Miao are a Miao subgroup living on the mountain slopes of Guizhou Province in southwestern China. They preserve distinctive traditions characterized by embroidered clothing and strong ties to the land and their community. Their traditional spirituality involves animism and ancestor worship, and they have yet to have significant contact with the gospel.
