The Nunu are a subgroup of the Yao ethnicity living in the mountainous regions of southern China. Guardians of a rich cultural and linguistic heritage belonging to the Hmong-Mien family, they maintain ancestral agricultural traditions and deep community bonds, living integrated into the karst landscape and preserving customs handed down from generation to generation.
