People
Who they are
The Nzime live in southeastern Cameroon, in the area around Lomié and the Dja River, and also in the Republic of the Congo. They speak a variety of Koonzime, a Bantu language. They live in small villages along roads and support themselves through subsistence farming and trapping. Most identify as Christians, and there are also followers of traditional religions.
