Who they are
The Pachitea Quechua are an Indigenous Andean people who inhabit the valleys and hillsides of the Huánuco region of Peru. Speaking their own variety of Quechua, they preserve rich community traditions rooted in farming, weaving and life in mountain villages. Although Christianity is part of their cultural history, a living biblical faith has reached only a few families in the region.
