Who they are
The Peere live in the Adamawa Region of Cameroon and also in Nigeria. They are also known as Pere or Kutin. In Cameroon, their communities are in the Faro-et-Déo and Mayo-Banyo departments. There are Christians and Muslims among them, as well as followers of traditional religions. In Nigeria, traditional beliefs are the predominant religion of the people.
