Who they are
The Pipil are an Indigenous people of Central America, concentrated mainly in western El Salvador. With cultural roots in the Nahuatl tradition, they nurture a strong connection to the land and to communal agricultural work. Even after centuries of intense assimilation and challenges to preserving their native language, they uphold the dignity of their heritage and their sense of ancestral identity.
