People
Who they are
The Piyobe inhabit the savanna regions of West Africa and belong to the Gur linguistic group. Deeply attached to their ancestral lands and village community ties, they preserve customs and rituals passed down through many generations. Devotion to traditional beliefs shapes the daily life and identity of this people, who have very few Christian communities among them.
