Who they are
The inhabitants of Saint Helena, affectionately known as “Saints”, live on one of the most isolated inhabited islands on the planet, in the South Atlantic. Their unique identity arose from the blend of British settlers, African laborers, and Asian migrants brought over centuries of maritime seafaring. English speakers, they form a close-knit, peaceful, and hospitable community deeply attached to their homeland.
