The Rabinal Achi are a Maya people native to the highlands of Guatemala, concentrated mainly in the Baja Verapaz valley. As custodians of rich cultural expressions, they proudly preserve their linguistic identity and ancestral customs. Most make their living through traditional farming in rural communities united by strong family ties and a deep appreciation for community life.
